Lunch Break | Riven (Dark Horse)

On the train this morning I started to read Riven* (Dark Horse) and I was hooked. Typically, I’m kind of shy about choosing new graphic novels to try, but Riven just caught me. From the title, to the artwork, to the mystery; I had to try it.

I was already 20% into the nearly 200 page trade and nearly cursing the speed of trains when I got to my stop.

Can’t wait to read on. Check back later for a review.

Katya has been in a coma for five years, and when she awakes, everything has changed. Now she is a gorgeous teenager with a mysterious, gruesome past, becoming aware of a growing, terrifying power inside her body, triggered by the touch of the full moon, eager to break free . . . Can Katy solve the mystery of her blood-drenched nightmares before they become reality?
