Bing Rewards are fairly simple. You use Bing for points then cash those points in for prizes. Anything from amazon money, which I use to buy digital comics, to Microsoft Points, which I use to buy video games, to Starbucks or Hulu money or even charitable contributions.

Step Up Revolution Looks Wonderfully Bad

I love bad movies. I saw Honey, and Battleship, and Dead or Alive, and all the Step Up Movies (even after Channing Tatum left to be a real actor). So, while watching the Real Housewives of the OC season finale I saw a commercial for something even more awful: Step Up Revolution. I watch America’s Next Best Dance Crew and love it. I’m jealous of the children and their skills and I’m jazzed about the drama and heartbreak. I love the outfits and JC’s bow ties and Lil MaMa emphatically shouting nonsense until she makes herself cry about shit that

Lunch Break | Riven (Dark Horse)

On the train this morning I started to read Riven* (Dark Horse) and I was hooked. Typically, I’m kind of shy about choosing new graphic novels to try, but Riven just caught me. From the title, to the artwork, to the mystery; I had to try it. I was already 20% into the nearly 200 page trade and nearly cursing the speed of trains when I got to my stop. Can’t wait to read on. Check back later for a review. Katya has been in a coma for five years, and when she awakes, everything has changed. Now she is a gorgeous

Between bottles of Gatorade and a during a Star Trek marathon I was able to check a project off my list. Yay! I couldn’t literally do NOTHING all day, just live through it… Ew. Today’s project: Turning Nasty, Overused Coasters Into Etched Glass Nerd Art. At some gift giving instance, I can’t remember which, Husband and I got these neat photo coasters. They’re glass with a white frame painted on

Reading Log: Game of Thrones

Today my bestie and one-time (hopefully ever) bridesmaid gave me her copy of Game of Thrones by George RR Martin. I’ve heard so much about threes books and this show that I’ve actually been to overwhelmed and intimidated to jump in. Today that ends and I start reading. As I read I’m going to talk to myself and whoever reads this because I’m so late I have no one to share with who won’t keep saying, “wait till… Oh, just wait.” Gah, I’ll discover at my own pace. Leave a comment if you like to join my solo book club.
