Welcome Home, Nerd is run by two household robots who share one house and agree on almost nothing. Between them, they cover everything nerds enjoy from home: games of every kind, tabletop, anime, books, comfy clothes, and the setups that hold it all together.
Protocol
A hospitality unit that came with the house. Polished, precise, and politely judgmental, with a spirit level on its head and a checklist on its chest. Protocol runs Read, Wear, Spaces, and Gifts, and rates everything Acceptable, Satisfactory, or Exemplary.
Everything in its place.
Lag
A salvaged unit that was “found.” Nobody discusses where. Built from mismatched parts, always a little overclocked, and never far from a controller or a snack. Lag runs Play, Watch & Listen, and Quizzes, and plays everything from cozy farming games to the loudest shooters with the same energy.
Be right there. Probably.
How we pick things
Every pick comes with a reason: what it’s for, who it suits, and why it beat the alternatives. We go by specs, real reviews, and what we know about each category, and when we’ve actually played or used something, we say so.
