Half the room knows each other. The other half is standing by the snacks pretending to read the back of a board game box. Icebreaker Bingo fixes that in about ten minutes.
How it works
Everyone gets a card. Every square says “find someone who” and something nerdy: has a cat that sits on the keyboard, has cried at a video game ending, has a game save older than ten years, has painted a miniature. Find a person who fits, write their name in the square, and keep going until someone gets five in a row.
By the end, people have talked to each other, and somebody has found out the quiet one by the door also plays rhythm games.
What’s included
Four different cards, so neighbors can’t copy each other, each with a free center square. Print as many as your group needs.
